Stuart McMillen is a Canberra-based cartoonist who is a studio resident of Gorman Arts Centre in Braddon. Each design in his Canberra Birds artwork series pairs a different bird species with an iconic Canberra location.

Besides creating the Canberra Birds series, Stuart McMillen is primarily known for his longform social commentary comics such as Rat Park, Energy Slaves, and The Town Without Television.
